All Laura Street youth (7th-12th) are invited to join us this March 8-9 for the Ignite Youth Leadership Conference in Des Moines, Iowa at Grace Church. The vision of the Ignite Conference is to “equip and train students, youth workers, and volunteers with Biblical principles. Principles that will help each church accomplish the goal of reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.” We have benefited from practical ministry advice and memorable times of fellowship from this conference.

We will be staying in hotel rooms for this event (Sleep Inn & Suites Ankeny). We typically assign one adult leader per two youth in a room. We will often match up youth leader parents with their children if they are going. Youth will share a bed with another youth and the adult will either have their own bed or share with their child. For the sake of clarity, boys will room with boys and a male leader and girls with girls and a female leader.

 

The registration cost is $40 per youth. Tickets are limited this year (only 40 available) so adult chaperones may be limited. Please turn in money by either registering online or putting it in an envelope and marking “Ignite” and your child’s name. There will be some additional cost for meals to and from the conference as well as any merchandise your child may wish to purchase (2 meals).

We will gather at the Max at 3:15pm on Friday March 8th to hit the road for this amazing time of fellowship, worship, and growth.
